Why the NIC Spirit^Wolf?

The wolf is one of the most respected animals to the native American. I admire and respect the wolf. My nickname "Spirit^Wolf" has a two fold meaning:

  • Spirit, as defined by Webster, has many meanings but the definition used properly in this case is "the animating principle of life and energy in man and animals; a state of mind, mood, or disposition."

  • The Wolf is a skilled hunter that will stop at nothing to insure survival of itself and its family.

Although I do not tend to be a team player as the wolf is, I do search for the things I crave to be true and honest.

An on-line friend of mine incorporated the biblical character "Jacob" into his name. When asked why he chose this he simply responds that he wants to have a heart for God and seek Him in the manner in which Jacob did.

In the same sence, I want to seek after God in a wolf frame of mind; never stopping, never easing up, only looking for the goal.

Are you a Christian? Have you sold out to Christ? Or are you the type of person mentioned in the famous rock group U2's song
"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"?

Maybe you are looking to hard. Maybe you are not looking at all.
Maybe you are content with your life.
Will you be content in your death?

What do you seek? Every one seeks something.
What do you lack? Everyone lacks something.
The fact is Jesus died for you.
He wants to accept you if you will accept Him.

Christians, do you seek Gods will daily?
Do you think you are saved and that is good enough?
What do you do on a daily basis to see more souls saved?

At one time I felt the need to go into the mission field.
Everyone I talked to said the same thing;
"There are plenty of people in the United States that need Jesus. You don't need to go over seas".

I guess I listened; here I am. Where are they?
I wonder, do they heed their own advice.
I wonder Christian brothers and sisters, do you?
