The song that is playing, Amazing Grace, is being sung in the Cherokee Indian language.

"Amazing Grace" was just a song until it happened to me.

May the Lord minister to the needs in your life.

Be blessed.

Amazing Grace,
how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost,
but now I'm found,
was blind,
but now I see.

"For God so loved the world

that He gave His only Son,

that who-so-ever believeth in Him

should not perish,

but have everlasting life."

John 3:16

There are many great scriptures in the Bible,
but I claim this one for my own.

This little prayer comes from
Jonah chapter 2, verses 2 through 9.

In these verses,
Jonah realizes his sin against God.
Rather than becoming bitter towards God,
he humbly asks forgiveness
and accepts the chastisement for his sin.

2. "I cried by reason

of mine affliction unto the LORD,

and he heard me;

out of the belly of hell cried I,

and thou heardest my voice.

.

. 3. For thou hadst cast me into the deep,

in the midst of the seas;

and the floods compassed me about;

all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

.

. 4. Then I said,

I am cast out of thy sight;

yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

.

. 5. The waters compassed me about,

even to the soul;

the depth closed me round about,

the weeds were wrapped about my head.

.

. 6. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains;

the earth with her bars was about me forever;

yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption,

O LORD my God.

.

. 7. When my soul fainted within me

I remembered the LORD;

and my prayer came in unto thee,

into thine holy temple.

.

. 8. They that observe lying vanities

forsake their own mercy.

.

. 9. But I will sacrifice unto thee

with the voice of thanksgiving;

I will pay that which I have vowed.

Salvation is of the LORD."

.

. Jonah 2:2-9

If you have been cast out of the sight of God (backslidden), I strongly encourage you to seek the face of God in repentance and humble yourself to Him.

Don't hate God for His chastisement.
A good father corrects his children and wants them to do right; not necessarily for his sake, but for their sake.
