The Woman Within The Child

I see within you
a child young and frightened;
longing for freedom
and days that are brightened.

Inside of this child
whose scarred from her past,
exist a woman
possessing peace that will last.



The woman within
is loyal and true;
she radiates confidence
from a life that's brand new.

She draws her courage
and strength from above;
from the person who promised
she'd always be loved.



Her past, though a part of her,
tattered and torn,
God faithfully mends
with a peace that adorns.

As the woman emerges
the childs' put to rest;
for now she can see
the futures the best.

With help from her Father,
each day she enjoys;
for they're days of healing
and days of true joy.
