The Sinners Prayer - A Prayer of Repentance


If you are ready to begin a new life,
please pray this prayer to God from your heart
Dear Lord,

I know that I am a sinner and need a Saviour to forgive me.
I believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross, and rose again on the 3rd day to provide for my salvation.
I believe Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

Lord, please forgive my sins and cleanse me from all wrong.
Come into my heart Lord Jesus; make my heart your home.
Help me turn away from my old, sinful ways and follow you.

I love you Lord Jesus, and want to live my life for you.

Thank you Lord for cleansing my heart and giving me eternal life.
I praise you and glorify your precious name.

In Jesus name I pray ... AMEN
