The bible (God's Word) tells us that we are all sinners:
Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." |
|
Sin separates us from God and leads to eternal death in hell.
Salvation guarantees eternal life in heaven with the Father: Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." |
|
We all need a Saviour.
God provided us a Saviour through His own Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." |

Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need a Saviour to be forgiven.
Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God; that He died on the cross to forgive your sins, and He rose again on the 3rd day. He now sits on the right hand of the Father in heaven. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord. Romans 10:9-10: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." |

Salvation, a free gift, can not be earned or bought.
It is provided only by Jesus and received through faith Epehsians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, though faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." John 14:6: "Jesus answered," I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." |

When we accept God's free gift, Jesus, we are
cleansed from all our sins and become God's children. Our names are then
written in the book of life which means we have eternal life with the Father in heaven.
John 1:12: "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become the children of God." John 5:24: "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." |

Once we've ask Jesus into our hearts, we need to repent (turn away)
from our sinful ways. We must confess our sins to Him and ask to be forgiven.
1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." |

He wants you as His child to live with Him for all eternity. Jesus wants to be your best friend that sticks closer than a brother. He promises to walk beside you guiding your every step.
