50 Years of Loving

Once upon a time,
a young couple found each other.
They quickly fell in love
as their hearts became as one.

They gazed into each others eyes,
promising their love would never end.

Through good times or bad,
whether happy or sad,
their love's been the cement
that's kept them so close.

They started a family
raising two girls they loved;
then lovingly embraced
two sons-in-law too.

As time went along,
they quickly discovered,
that grandkids had also
taken root in their hearts.

Now, 50 years later.
their love is still true;
they've grown even closer
since they first said "I do".
