| From the very first chapter of the Bible, God made his love for life known. He looked out over the vast dark formless expanse and filled it with things of beauty. He created MAN in His image and gave him dominion over all living things. |
|
MAN has defiled much of God's creation; both nature and mankind.
What God created as perfect and in harmony, MAN has been destroying by his own selfish acts.
A small amount of natural beauty still exists; but it is slowing vanishing. We should work together to "clean up" the land that was given to us by God. But even more, "cleansing" is needed within the heart of MAN. No one can perform this cleansing on their own; it comes from only one source, God's Son Jesus. Only He can cleanse us from within. |

God still wants us to enjoy the things he has given us in this land.
We should do our best to keep it clean because the sights and sounds of nature
are important for many reasons. One reason is for stress reduction.
In our fast paced society, we need time out for rest and relaxation.
Even God "rested" on the seventh day of creation.
But there is something even more important; we need to daily check our own heart to keep it in tune with our Creator. Someday, this world as we know it will be destroyed. Someday, we will stand before the Creator. We will be accountable to Him for what we have done with our lives. If we have not allowed the inner cleansing to take place in our hearts, like the earth, we will be destroyed. The destruction will be to our souls as we will be forever lost from God's kingdom. We will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity. |

you can do so today. You will then have the assurance of where you will
spend eternity.
