Depression, fatigue, confusion, anxiety; these were just a few of the feelings that bombarded my mind as I prepared for the task you had set before me.

I knew in my heart that I should be excited; still, the dark gloom would not lift from me. How could I possibly perform such a great mission with this heaviness pulling me down?

Lord, had I been mis-lead? Just a few weeks ago everything seemed to be going just fine; Every detail had been falling right into place. I had been praising your name for working so efficiently in my life to prepare me.

Oh Lord, I prayed, let me know your perfect will. Do not allow me to lean towards my own selfish desires; But may I do what is pleasing to you; That which will bring glory to Your name.

Then I received the letter; refreshing my spirit, causing me to rejoice once again. As I read the letter, joy overwhelmed me. My spirit became encouraged.

The letter reminded me how Satan would attack and cause confusion. I should not allow him to depress me any longer; You, oh Lord, had already won the battle. The victory was yours; Satan had been defeated. Praise you Lord!

As excitement once again fills my whole being, I know now I am in your perfect will. Great things are about to happen.

Satan will try to confuse and cause doubts when He sees God working in your life.
Don't give in to his lying schemes.
